The Hangover Part 2

I was looking forward to seeing this A LOT. So we went and watched it on Monday just gone.
We both loved the first movie so much that we had to watch it again :)
I think I'll be re watching it many a times.. One of the reasons why we loved it so much was
because it was set in Las Vegas ♥
But mainly because the movie was f-ing hillarious :P
I laughed out loud so many times and almost cried with laughter.

I was expecting something similar with the 2nd movie, but got a bit disappointed.
It had some funny moments, but no LOL moments (Laugh out Loud..)
All in all an okey movie. But I'm only giving it 3 out of 5 ♥'s
Have you seen it yet? Did you like it?

The monkey was funny :P And you got to love Alan!! :D

Cinema -Pirates of the Caribbean -On Stranger Tides

We finally went to the cinema today. It's been so long since the last time.
Think last movie we watched was the latest Harry Potter movie.
There have not been that many movies that we've wanted to watch at the cinema.
But had to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 4. I love Johnny Depp as Captain Sparrow.
He is such a great actor. And I don't mind if they keep making another 10 movies haha.
The movie itself was good. I liked Penelope Cruz in it. I never liked Kiera Knightley :/
She just does not look healthy at all and her acting was a bit bleh.
Did miss Orlando Bloom a bit though, but all in all still okay.
It gets 4 ♥'s out of 5.
I do think there will be another movie, the ending kinda suggested it.
Would be cool!

Burlesque

I love this movie!!!
Watched it today and Oh My Gosh!!
It was so beautiful and awesome!!
(People might think it's just another happy ending movie),
but who cares!!

It had everything! Awesome music performed by beautiful and talented
Christina Aguilera ♥
A very hot man haha ;) Ok even 2 hot men. Shhhh!
And sexy girls. Hubba Hubba.
The dancers/actors were brilliant.
I didn't want the movie to end.
I'm not a huge fan of musicals. I don't mind them, but this one was WOW.

Not seen it yet? I think you should.
Sneek peak (All pics off Google)
Woops forgot to mention Cher :)
Cam Gigandet - Also seen in The O.C where he played a bad boy
and in Twilight as James.
Eric Dane also known as Dr Sloane in Greys Anatomy or better known as "Mc Steamy" ;)

Prince of Persia

I loved this movie!

It was funny, well made, interesting and just good.
No more to say :P

Watch it if you haven't already.

It gets ♥♥♥♥+ out of ♥♥♥♥♥

(Pic from Google)

Get him to the greek

Amazingly funny movie. I mean it!
It almost made me cry several times :P

I'd recommend it to everyone!

This scene was hillarious :D

Jonah Hill is a an awesome actor and funny as f*** :P
Russel Brand was pretty hillarious himself, you can't help but liking him in this role.

Watch it!

It gets ♥♥♥♥♥ out of ♥♥♥♥♥!!

Matty: Man, that opening party was incredible. Check out the pictures on myspace. There's one of me eating cheese off some girl's titties.
Aaron Green: Please just lie to me and say I didn't miss another awesome party.
Matty: You missed an awesome party. I woke up with glitter on my dick.

Hahaha

Jonathan Snow: I'm responsible for your talent, son. I wrote all your songs off the tip of my cock.
Aldous Snow: Yeah, I just don't get how talent can be contained in one's spunk.

Lmao!! You got to watch this.

Quote off IMDB's website and pics from Google!

Films

Been watching quite a few movies the last few weeks. Some good, some really bad.

Last movie we watched was Iron Man 2. I was expecting more from it for some reason.
It was okey, but not as good as I expected.

3 ♥'s out of 5.

Love Scarlett :P

We also watched Grownups. I thought it would be a rubbish movie, but I kinda liked it.
It had some big names in it like Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade,
Kevin James, Rob Schneider amongst others.

I thought it was quite funny at times, not "so funny you cry funny", but got a few "ha-ha's" out of me.
A feel good movie.
I'd recommend it.

It also gets 3 ♥'s out of 5.

One of the worst movies I've seen in a while was Clash of the Titans, I know it's not a new movie,
but we thought we'd give it a go.. Utter waste of our time..

It only gets 1 ♥.

Also watched The Expendables... I love Jason Statham (hot!) and Jet Li, but there were some other heavy names involved too..
The film was just ridiculously bad!! Sylvester Stallone, writing and directing...
Guess that speaks for itself..
And what has he done to himself? (Sylvester Stallone) He looks like 100 operations gone wrong..

Some of the scenes were quite good, but they reminded me a bit too much of Rambo 4..

It only gets 2 ♥'s.

Have you seen any of them? Did you like some more than me? Less? Tell me ;)

Salt

Going to watch Salt tonight with Ads.
I have always admired Angelina Jolie.
I've blogged about her before and my fascination with her.
She is such a beautiful human being. Not just on the outside.
I know I don't know her personally, but she seems to be an amazing person.

As I don't watch trailers I don't know anything about her latest movie.
(Only watch trailers at the cinema as I can't keep my eyes and ears shut until the movie starts).
Reason why I don't watch trailers is because I don't want the movie to be spoilt :/
I'm strange I know!

Hoping this movie will be good. Last movies of hers that I watched were Wanted and Changeling.
Both great movies.

Anyone seen Salt yet? Liked it?
I'll write what I think about it after I've seen it :)

Beautiful

***Update***

A lil review.
The movie was quite good. It had a few twists in it and it kept you interested and wondering
"What is going on?"
I would recommend this movie if you like action movies and have an hour and half to spend.
I just wish I had known there were quite a few scenes with scary spiders in it :(
As I have arachnophobia I wasn't enjoying that part at all!
Kept closing my eyes and annoying Adam when I said:
"Are they gone now?" "Now?" "Still there"? haha
He didn't appreciate that :p

All in all a good film and I would rate it 3 ♥'s out of 5.

Waiting for Autumn

Oh wait.
It already looks and feels like Autumn here in Manchester.
The summer has not been a real summer. Not since June.
Quite sad really as I love the sunshine and to be able to enjoy a day out
when I got the day off. Now I got nothing to do..

I've watched all episodes of True Blood so far.
( I don't even like the show, but I finished all episodes in season 2).
And I've watched all the episodes that have come out from season 3.
I don't like the main male character.. He puts me off so much, they could
have found someone more attractive surely? He just looks creepy and old!

Even started watching a new show called Pretty Little Liars.
It's quite good. About some high school girls with a dark secret.
Nothing special, but it will do till all my favourite shows start again.

Beginning of the summer I watched Cougar Town because someone told me it was good.
Finished all the episodes in a week :X
I kinda liked it, but it wasn't as great as I hoped. It was funny at times though.
Just weird seeing Courtney Cox playing someone else but "Monica" in Friends.

I'm mad I know, but I love watching TV shows!

Me and Ads have started watching Sopranos together.
We must be the only people out there that haven't watched it?
(Ok maybe not, but it used to be quite popular when it was new and "in").
I like it!

Lie to me is another show I have watched lately. I like it.
It's different. The main character is pretty fascinating.
I'd recommend it to people who are bored like me :P

Now I'm wondering what to watch next. My shows wont be starting again till mid September!
And I need to have something to watch until then!

Any suggestions?

The Oscars 2010

I'm so tired today. Stayed up till 5am this morning watching the Oscars..
Yes, I'm crazy. But it IS something I've done for years..
It was worth it in the end. To finally see a female director win an Oscar for best Director.
The first ever woman. Well done Kathryn Bigelow. Beating your ex husband James Cameron ;)
And The Hurt Locker was the big winner! 6 whole Oscars. Best picture!! :D

We watched it the other week. I really liked it. It's quite intense. Funny at times and
totally horrible. Some scenes were horrific.. Showing the true face of wars..

Back to the Oscars..
I was not impressed by it this year. It all felt so rushed..
I don't like it when they rush the winners. It's bad. Too many commercials..

Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were the hosts. They were quite funny.
Some of the things they said made me laugh out loud and think "he didnt just say that?!".
But my all time favourite will always be Billy Crystal. He always felt so real.

The winners this year were quite surprising. I won't go into too many details.
But I do want to watch a few of the movies that were nominated for Oscars.
Still not seen Precious & The blind Side with Sandra Bullock.

What about the dresses? :P Used to be so much fun to see the red carpet.
I did not see many "wow" dresses last night.
My favourite was J.Lo!

Just fabulous in that dress. I'd love to have that dress :P

Maggie Gyllenhaal. I'm not sure about this dress.

Sandra looked so classy. Lovely.

Jeremy Renner starring in The Hurt Locker looking very smart :p
He took his mum with him to the Oscars. Aww!

Queen Latifah looking fabulous! :D Love it.

Miley Cyrus looking adorable.         No idea what Charlize Theron was thinking..

Lovely Gabourey Sidibe. She looked beautiful.

Zoe Saldanas dress is quite different. I like it. I think!
Do I really have to say something about Taylor Lautner? He is handsome.. :X

I love this woman. Sarah Jessica Parker ♥ Adore her!
But this dress was not very flattering on her.

Rachel McAdams. I like it, but I don't?  Same with Vera Fermigas dress.
It looks Wow. But the colour? Not sure.

Adorable Kate Winslet. Always a win! She always has something beautiful on.
Well done :p

Till next year Oscars!
Congrats to all the winners! ♥

Time for the Oscars

Finally, that time of the year! :D
I've been watching the Oscars for years.
I used to stay up and watch it all the time back home.
And I have continued the tradition here in Manchester :D
Can't wait to see all the winners and beautiful dresses ;)
Who will win the best movie award? We shall see.
Quite a few movies that can win "the best picture".
10 whole movies this year! Avatar, The Blind Side, District 9, An Education, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Precious, A Serious Man, Up, Up in the Air.
I've seen quite a few of those. I really liked Avatar, Up, The Hurt Locker and Inglourious Basterds.
Which one is your favourite?

I'll update tomorrow morning ;) I will be too busy watching it tonight!
I got Coca Cola, liquorice candy and some nuts to keep me company! :D

Movies

We spent quite a few nights watching movies while we were in Sweden.

We watched 2012 which I thought was like any other disaster movie.
It was "ok". Nothing amazing.
I thought it was far too long though.
Not sure if I'd recommend this movie to people, but I'm sure most people have seen it already.

And then we watched Planet 51.
I did not know much about it before Ads suggested we watch it.
It's a cartoon about a distant planet and a human arrives and the "people"
on that planet think he is an Alien. Was not as funny as I like cartoons to be.
But was ok.
I recommend this movie if you have nothing else to watch and you 1.5 hours to kill.

The invention of lying was something I'd not heard of at all.
But Adam wanted to watch it.
Ricky Gervais is in it.
Also Jennifer Garner and Jonah Hill.
It started out really good. Was quite hillarious.
I do recommend this movie. It's different and you laugh a bit :)

And then we watched the good old Classics you just have to watch when it's Christmas time :P

Home Alone 1 & 2. God I love Kevin!! He makes me laugh every time.

This part makes me laugh so much.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with Kevin Costner.

Oh! Adam told me about The Muppets Christmas Carol, so we watched that too.
I prefer the proper Scrooge movie :P The old one. But it was funny :)

Did you watch any good movies over Christmas?

Anything I should watch? I need some suggestions.

New Moon

So I finally got to see the movie yesterday. We went out in the cold and wet wet rain to
get to the cinema. We were both cold and soaked after a walk through the Christmas market.
We didn't spend much time there because it was too wet and cold.

Adam in his bright/blingy Christian Audigier jacket that I love!
I could easily pull it off :P No? Haha

Rain, rain and more rain! Hate it!

New Moon was my favourite book of the 4 that have been written so far.
I love the story line and the way she expresses Bellas pain after Edward leaves her all alone.
And Jacob is there for her. Loving her, waiting for her... And then she goes back to Edward!
Grrr, but that's another story haha :P I didn't expect much from this movie.
I didn't really like Twilight too much. This one was abit better.
I don't like Robert Pattison. I just don't get it.. He is not attractive at all.
Not if you compare him to Taylor Lautner, the guy that plays Jacob in the movie.
(Wow is all I have to say haha). But I don't think Robert P is the way I imagined Edward.

The acting isn't the best, but I will give New Moon 3 ♥'s out of 5.
Adam did not like it at all :/ Oh well. Don't think I'll watch the 3rd movie at the cinema next year.
We shall see :)

Have decided to start re-reading the Twilight books. I do love the story so much.

Movies

We watched a few movies this weekend.

I watched 500 Days of Summer on my own. I really loved this movie.
It's not a love story.But a story about love.
It shows the true sides of dating and love.
Not just the boy meets girl, they fall in love and have a fight, but in the end they
marry and live happily ever after. No. It shows the reality.
It made me laugh out loud at times.
I highly recommend it.

And then we watched Funny People together.
Adam Sandler is in it and so is Seth Rogan and a few others.
Both me and Ads thought it would be a very funny movie.. But.. It was abit "hmmmm".
I can't put my finger on it.. It was funny at times. But not hillarious.
Quiet long too for a "comedy-drama" film.
I don't want to recommend it because I'm not sure if others would enjoy it.

Lastly we watched Paranormal Activity last night.
Which was quite creepy. I like scarier movies, Ads doesn't. Bless him.
But we decided to watch it anyways. It was not gruesome or anything like that.
Just creepy. Gives you a chill watching it. I do recommend this movie.

Have you seen any of these movies? Did you like it? Do you want to see any of them?

Animated movies

Are some of my favourite movies :)

I love the way they are made. So beautiful and funny :) Some of them are sad at times,
but I guess it's a way for children to learn and understand about some of the things in life that
are difficult. Like death.

We watched UP on Saturday. It was hillarious and I was laughing out loud at times :)
It's a great movie for both children and adults (like me and Ads haha).
It has everything you want from an animated movie. Lots of interesting and funny things happen.
I recommend it strongly :)

I also watched 9 yesterday. On my own. I was not sure what it was about before I watched it.
(I don't watch trailers because they ruin the movie for me :/ Might seem weird to some)
But I knew it was made by some really good producers and director. So I thought I'd give it a go.
It was a bit weird. I liked it, but the ending was not as I expected.
But it's a movie you can watch on a Sunday afternoon. It's not a funny movie, but rather interesting.
I would not recommend kids to watch it though.

Some of my favourite animated movies are: Lion King, Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Beauty and the beast.
The newer ones: Wall-E (I loved that one!!) Finding Nemo, Monster vs Aliens and many many more!

Do you like animated movies? Which one is your favourite?

Movie time

It's been a while since I watched a good movie.

So we decided to watch Public enemies with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale was in it too.
I love movies based on a true story. And this one was very interesting :)
I recommend you to watch it.

It's about John Dillinger a notorious gangster in the 1930's :P

Movie

We watched a movie the other night. Was supposed to watch G.I Joe, but something went wrong with the sound
when streaming the movie from the PC to the PS3 :/
So we decided to watch The Taking of Pelham 123.
It starrs Denzel Washington who I absolutely love in movies. He is an amazing actor.
And John Travolta was pretty good too :)

I'm not going to say too much about the movie.
I'm a person that does not watch trailers if I don't have a choice haha.

But I do recommend people to watch it. It's different from the other Hollywood movies out there.
It makes you think! I like movies that make me think hehe :)

R.I.P Patrick Swayze

Another legend has gone to sleep..

I always loved him when I was younger.
I used to watch North & South with my mum when I was only a few years old.
Let's not forget "Dirty Dancing".
It will always be one of the classic movies that will live on forever.

He was a brilliant actor and a loving person (married to his wife for 30 years).

He will always be remembered.

Elf

This is a movie I've only seen twice (2nd time was last night).
It's really a X-mas movie, but Will Ferrell is so hillarious in it that we decided to watch it anyways.
I strongly recommend this movie if you are bored and want a giggle :P
It may seem corny/silly at times, but I loved it :D

One of those feel good movies that takes your mind off every day life for an hour and a half.

Harry Potter

I love the books, but I also love the movies. I don't care what people have to say.
They are beautifully made and witty at times. I love the story about Harry Potter. It is brilliantly written and
it always kept me interested and wanting more. When I read the last book I felt sad, because it was the end of
an amazing story and a magical world.

We watched Harry Potter and the half-blood prince yesterday at the IMAX and the beginning was in 3D. The visual effects were awesome, wish the whole movie had been in 3D :P
I can't wait to see the last 2 movies. I might even re-read the books :)

Yes Man!

We watched Yes Man last night, with Jim Carrey. I did not know what to expect, but it was hillarious :)
It made us laugh so much.
Definitely recommend you to watch it :D

Had a doctors appointment this morning and got antihistamines :/
I guess I'm allergic to pollen or something. Hopefully it will make it easier to breathe at night and stop my eyes from running all the time. Quite annoying!
I can't wait for this week to end. I don't like working lates. 8pm finish..
You can't do anything after work. Too late and I always feel so tired when I get home.
My mum has come back from Croatia today so I look forward to catching up with her tonight (on phone).
Not long now till we go back home! I can't wait! :D

Still no internet..... *NO comment*
