Here are the latest pics from our lovely kitchen.
Still bits that need doing :) but it's almost done!!

My american fridge/freezer that I adore!! :D
Can't wait to fill it up with lots of goodies!! Haha.

I love that washer haha. I can't wait to start using it :P
But we need some wall tiles and the boiler needs boxing it and we also need a dryer

eventually. Not a necessity, but it will fill the gap..

The tiles and the splash back will make such a huge impact on the kitchen.
Oh and we got an extractor hood that needs to go up too.

Can't wait till it's all finished and done :) That kettle is an old one and the radio is going too

haha.

We are hoping to move all our furniture in tomorrow!
Fingers crossed it will work out!

Can't wait!! I'm soooo excited!!

Almost there

We were both off yesterday so we could do some stuff around the house.

We went there early and painted the living room walls and then we went

to my favourite place. IKEA! :D Spent hours in there.
And we spent a lot of money too haha.

Got quite a few nice things that we needed, but I could have bought so much more

if I only had a lot of money :P Had to stop myself haha. Need money for other

stuff too. Will have to buy things as and when we can afford it.

Our friend and builder came around in the afternoon and he didn't leave till today in the afternoon.

He must have been in there for 23 hours.. He only had an hours sleep.

He is mad!! But he has been a star. We wouldn't be able to move in tomorrow if it wasn't for him.

It's been a year since we bought the house and we are almost in it.

We will be sleeping in it tomorrow. So excited!!

Will take lots of pics tomorrow when I've cleaned it up a bit. Still needs to be tidied up

and a few bits and pieces need to be sorted out.

Remember what the house looked like before??

Livingroom. That wall is now gone :) And the door you can see in the back is no longer

there either. We got french doors instead.

I don't even want to think about this bathroom... It's all been gutted and you won't

believe it's the same room when you see it.

Our bedroom before I had a say :P Hehe. Like the carpet. Don't you? :)

The house looks like a completely different house now. You shall see tomorrow!

Shopping Spree

My day off today and it was so beautiful outside. It almost felt like summer.

Sun was shining :) It always makes me happy and smiley.

Went to town early-ish and had some things in mind that I was going to get.

Mostly for the house as we have decided to move in this weekend!

No matter what state it's in, we will be sleeping in our new bed in our house

on Sunday night. Mhmmmm!!!

So I had a list of things to get and some of it was a kettle, toaster and some bedding.
Spent 4 hours in town! I usually get bored or fed up after an hour.
Especially if it's busy in town. Don't like crowds..

Ended up with lots of stuff!! Treated myself to some nice clothes too ^^

I shouldn't, but I couldn't help myself.. I love H&M's clothes!!!

I also ended up with these.

:D We like green hehe. We are going for white tiles with a border of green tiles so

we wanted to match it! Love it! So fresh and colourful.

I also got 2 mugs by Cath Kidson. I got an obsession with mugs and glasses..

I got these 2 today, but I am going to go back for some more.

Hate going shopping haha as I always want more than I can get :$
We are off on Friday so we will be going to Ikea to buy some more bits for the

house. Can't wait to show you all pics from the house when it's all finished ;)

Happy!

I found the carpet I wanted for my stairs and landing today!! :D
It's the perfect lime green colour I was looking for.
I went to a big carpet shop last week and the salesman was baffled when
I told him what colour I wanted.
He said: "It's hard to find that colour.. Don't you want another colour?"
Me: "No, that's the colour I want"..

And I usually get what I want ;)

So went to a little shop in Salford and saw it straight away! :D
I'm so happy! It's getting delivered tomorrow.
You will see pics when it's all fitted ;)

I also found some lovely wallpaper for 3 cupboards/storage rooms we got.
£5 a roll and it looks loveli! Quite a bargain haha so I was double happy today.

This is the best part about moving in to the house. Me decorating it the way I want it!

Like this kettle for example it will look soooo good in my new kitchen!

New Kitchen & Bed

Adam had a surprise for me yesterday.
He told me K would only be able to finish a bit of the kitchen this weekend.

But he had in fact done most of it! He had been at ours all week after

work and done so much :D
My face when I saw it was like :O

And then I started screaming haha.

Still need the handles/splash back/wall and floor tiles and paint!

Oh and the washer and dryer and the fridge freezer :P
Okay a lot left.

The lovely splash back needs to go on there and the oven oh and a hood.

My lovely black sink :) I adore it. Don't love doing the dishes though haha ;)

But it will make it more fun with this sink? Maybe..

We also went to IKEA yesterday :D I know I've said it before..

But I DO love that place.. I know I'm a fool, but it does make me feel like home :$

We bought a kitchen table and chairs and also our new bed and mattrass! Yay!

Ads put the bed up today, I watched :P

Well I'm not allowed to do any heavy lifting and stuff for a while..

Need some bed side tables, but I could not decide on some yesterday..

Can't wait to sleep in it.. Soon I hope. Very soon.. Fingers crossed!!

Bedroom

Our bedroom is finally finished :D

All we need is a bed, some bedside tables, blinds and put up my mums curtains

that she's made us and it'll be all done! We put up the wall quote thing today.

I'm so pleased with it :) Love it.
Can't wait to fall asleep in there. Will be so nice and peaceful.

Not having a TV in the bedroom. That's a big no no for me..

The bedroom is for sleeping and relaxing!

I'm almost done with the staircase as well. I have been working hard on it!

Been going there every other day to paint it. It has had 3 layers of under coat

already. Needs a last top coat and some sandpapering and it will be done I think.

The house - Kitchen

Some pics of our new kitchen that we ordered a while ago.
It's going to be here by the end of the month.
They're only sketches. It'll look much nicer in real life!! :)

Can't wait to get it fitted. It will be my favourite place haha.
I usually hate the kitchen, but it will be so pretty!!!
Plus all the drawers and doors have that "slow motion" thingy when you
open and close them. You know what I mean?

I just love that haha. I'm so easily pleased. I can do that over and over
again and not be bored. :D No more banging in the morning when Ads is making tea!!

I love my black sink! And the splashback is lovely too :D
So excited!! ♥

Make most of the space

I don't want to have the main PC in the living room as it will take a lot of space

and I want it out of the way. Ads does not want the PC upstairs because if I'm downstairs

on the sofa and he is upstairs gaming or vice versa, we'd never see each other :P

So our builder and friend K came up with a great idea.

There is a "tiny little storage room" in the living room at the moment,

and he said he could build a desk in there and we could have the PC in there.

It's a brilliant idea! Just need to find out how to get some more "natural" light in

there, but it will be perfect! Won't have a door on it,

but maybe some curtains so we can hide it when we got people over :)

It's behind the door to the right. I'll have to take some more pics :)

Quotes

The house is still under construction.. I don't know when it will be ready.
Still a few big jobs needed until we can start with the fun things.
Fun meaning the decorating part :) I am looking forward to choosing things to put inside it.
What to do with the walls and all the other pieces that makes a house a home.

I've already got a few ideas.
I like the idea of having some quotes or wall art on some of the walls.
Seen quite a few online that I like. Here are a few examples.
