I've heard a few people say they never watched it.. (Weirdos!)
My favourite character in Friends has always been Ross.

Long time since I did a post on your blog, but it's never too late to do so ^^
My fave friends character has to be Chandler. Ok, I am a bit biased, as I think that Matthew Perry is just such a naturally funny guy. And he does the straight roles good as well, just watch him in the later episodes of series 4 of the West Wing, or in the short lived but excellent Studio 60.

Going back to Friends... it's true of course it has writers, but as they are filming the show before an audience, they would often change/add/whatever lines as required, and Matthew would quite often come up with his own one-liners and deliver them with ease :)
