I've never been there before. I've been to Gran Canaria ones many years ago.
Still can't believe it though. Me in a bikini in a few days time!
I'm freezing here! Hehe. I need it badly though..
Not too big, but it'll do! Better than being in cold England!
I just hope we get there okay with all the delays and stuff.
Manchester airport has been on the ball this year, but some planes are still delayed.
(Like most Swedish people.. And I did not like it.. Too Swedish haha).
I'm hoping I will like Tenerife more ;)
There will be about 25 of us at most (New Years Eve).

Halloween horror nights x
We went to Universal Studios on my birthday (at night) as we had bought tickets to go to the
Halloween horror nights there. They have all been before, but I have not,
so I was sooo scared and did not know what to expect.
They all said it's really scary in the "houses".
They have loads of different rides that they make all freaky and scary.
We started by having loads of drinks so by the time we went in there I was sh*t faced pissed haha.
I even went up to a guy who was very scary and I poked my tongue out at him and he did it too
and it was a good thing I was pissed because he was scary!!! Hahaha.
I hope I'll be able to do it all again one day and maybe not to be as drunk ;)

Florida
One of the favourite things we did when we were in Orlando was when we went to
the new Harry Potter land :D we tried to go there on a Saturday, but it was so busy
and crowded (HOT) so we decided to go back on a week day early in the morning so I could
see everything and take lots of pics :D
I'm such a Harry Potter geek ;)

Orlando
I'm about a month and a half late on this topic..
But better late than never?
So we did went to Orlando Florida after all :)
2 weeks filled with lots of fun!
I really loved it there. I was like a kid again :D
I love everything about US of A (well not everything, don't like the politics...)
but everything else :P
I still love Las Vegas the most.. I don't know why, it's not something you can explain to someone
who has never been there. But it was pretty awesome anyways!
I will write a bit more about it in a bit, but thought I'd share some of the hundreds of pictures I took.

I'm sipping on some rose and waiting for time to pass.
I'm too giddy to sleep at the moment.
Even if I tried.... I'd just lay there in bed and think about stuff.

My last day in work for 2 whole weeks. I do enjoy my job (most times), but I really need a break.
It's not like me to have no summer holiday or any other holiday..
I've only been home once this year, and that was for 2 days :(
So this holiday is well deserved. We've not had the best year.. It started quite badly and all
we want now is a good holiday. To switch off and enjoy ourselves.
I can't wait!! :D
I won't be bringing our laptop as it needs a new battery, but I will try and blog once in a while.

It's true what they say
Guess where we are going in less than 6 weeks?
Yes we are!!
I'm so excited I can't even believe it's true!
We had it planned since beginning of the new year that we were going to go
last week in September and first week in October.
We've had it booked off work since January :X
But we then decided that we probably couldn't afford to go because of the new house and
all the work that needed to be done on it.
Ads has been about 10 times and it's like a family tradition for them, so I felt bad that he would
miss out this time. I even told him he should go without me and I could go back home.

Summer, bloody summer
July has been a gloomy month here in Manchester.
It's been so grey and rainy most days.
It's not cold, but it's not nice.
I prefer sunshine! I'm a sun worshipper! I need sunshine to feel good.
We are not going away this summer..
It's the first time in a few years that we're not going on a summer holiday.
But we got the house to think about and a lot of work that still needs doing.
And it all costs £'s.
We have decided to skip Florida in September/October as it's not right to spend thousands of pounds
on the flight/hotel/tickets and shopping.
Plus we're going back to California and Vegas ♥ June next year :D
So we have made a decision to spend all the money on the house and go away in December instead.
Ads' family are going to Tenerife again. They were there last winter when we went to freezing Sweden :P
And we thought it would be nice to go to a warm country when it's all cold over here.
We will be going on X-mas day and come back on the 4th of January. I can't wait.

Las Vegas summer 2009
I love this city ♥
I can't explain what I feel for this city. It is the most amazing place I've been to so far.
Somehow I doubt there will be any other place in the world that could beat it :)
I feel so comfortable there. I feel happy there.
I've left the pictures from our week in Vegas till now. Not sure why.
Looking at them make me so happy, but also so sad :X
I miss that place, but most of all I miss how happy I am when I'm there.
First day/night. Our pool was amazing. I spent hours there daily :P
Love in Swedish=Kärlek, Bosnian=Ljubav and Turkish=Sevgi and many, many more languages :)
The Wynn and Encore are my favourite looking Casinos in Vegas. Trump is pretty awesome too :p
And Paris :D
That cheesecake is from Cheesecake Factory and it is one of the most delicious thing I've tasted.
Ads loves his Bud Lights and I was sipping on Mojitos while cooling off :)
We even won a few times haha. We did not just lose ;)

Disneyland Part 2
The last day in Anaheim we went back to Disneyland.
We had not been to the 2nd park. So we thought we could go there.
We had an all day pass to go to both parks.
The weather was amazing. (The week so far had not been great weather wise)
It was almost too hot and it was very busy so we had a break during the day and went back at night :)
Had a chance to try out the pool at our hotel :)
Adam loves Monsters Inc lol. And the ride was sooo not for grown ups haha, but it was funny.
The Tower of Horrors was quite scary :P
The Bugs land was worse tho... I hate insects.. And Adam knew what would happen...
And he loved it when I started screaming like a mad woman when the spiders came down from the ceiling..
I was not impressed! lol
That Mr Potatoe robot thing cost about 1million dollars. Yep. INSANE.
But it was cool :)
Muppet show was hillarious :p
Wish I could go back now. Was such a great time.
I felt like a kid again :D

Sixflags/Magic Mountain
I know it's been a few months since I've come back from my wonderful holiday :)
And I guess it's a bit late to post more pics from it.. But I thought I would anyways :)
Sixflags is an amazing amusement park north of Los Angeles.
And we went there for a whole day.
I've never seen anything like it. Some of the rides were just WOW.
The sounds they made were scary lol.
We did most rides apart from 2-3 that we did not have time to go on.
But all in all it was an amazing day for two "grown up" kids running around like silly people from
ride to ride haha :D
There was one ride called Deja Vu that was extremely scary. I even cried when I was on it.
But what a thrill it was!
Adam just had to play a silly game and what did he do?
He won that huge Kenny doll hahaha.
I would have taken it back with me... But no space in the suit cases :(
AND we were going to Vegas aswell.
So when we were queing for one of the rides. (For aaaages)
I kept banging a kid in the head with Kenny. I felt like an idiot haha.
He kept staring at it so I thought... Hmmm... Maybe I should give it to him!
So I said: "Hey kid, here you go you can have Kenny"
Kid (with big happy eyes) says: "MEEE? Really?"
I say: "Yeah sure! :D "
Kid: "Wow thank you! :D "

Hollywood/LA Experience
We went on a bus tour to Hollywood & LA. I was not too impressed with it :/
I think they could have done it much better, but if/when we go back to LA we will get our own car and spend as much time as we want at the places we really liked and did not have enough time to explore. But all in all the experience was good and you got to know alot about the city which you would not have known if you went on your own. (Well depends if you had a guide book or not haha)

Olvera street is where the oldest house in Los Angeles is. And they have left it exactly the way it was. Pretty awesome if you ask me :)

Our third day in Anaheim was the one day we had NO plans at all. No tours or parks to go to :)
We were supposed to go to the beach on this day,but we did not have the best weather in California :/
It was warm,but the sun was hiding behind the clouds :(
So we decided to go do some shopping :D
I did not mind ;) hahaha.
Ended up buying quite a lot in Forever21, one of my favourite shops in US of A.
But we also went to a Baseball game! :D
It was really cool. The americans love their baseball and they make a whole day out of it.

Universal Studios
Our second day in California we went to Universal Studios :)
It was one of my favourit days while we were in US of A :D
Saw loads of fun things there. And went on some really cool rides.
They got a "Mummy" ride there which was quite scary,fast and AWESOME :D

It was one of my favourit days while we were in US of A :D
Saw loads of fun things there. And went on some really cool rides.
They got a "Mummy" ride there which was quite scary,fast and AWESOME :D

We went on a backstage tour,which was so cool! We saw loads of things that they've used in actual movies,
and also the actual "places" where they did some of the shooting.

Car from Fast and the furious,they made it dance to "Gasolina" haha :PWe were sat on a tour bus,minding our own business and then we ended up in a little place called Amity Island.

One of the guys got eaten up by it,I got it all on video! (only kidding ;) ) but it is the place where the movie got filmed :D
After that unpleasant experience we went to my favourite bit of the tour. Wisteria Lane,that's where Desperate Housewives is filmed ♥

I had the time of my life in Disneyland.People might think it wont be fun for people in our age,but they could not be more wrong.It is such an exciting experience. We went on loads of fun/wet/ rides. The americans really love the wet rides.
I was totally soaked after one of the raft rides :) It was fun though!
I felt like a grown up kid all day long. And I have not smiled so much before.
It was definitely a place where dreams come true :)

Where dreams come true
I can't write much, laptop battery is dying.
I have had the time of my life.
I will tell ALL about it when we finally get home.
We are delayed... And we wont be landing in Manchester till 2.45pm tomorrow..
Which means we will be 7 hours delayed and we have to fly to London Heathrow before
we can fly to Manchester.. Why does this always happen to us?
I'm not sure, but oh well. Hopefully we will be home and safe as soon as possible.
I don't want to leave this wondeful place.
But I guess I have to go back to reality.
We will be back soon. I just know it :)
And one day... We will stay here.. For good.

Anaheim&LA part 2
4 days in California now and I'm still loving it :)
The weather today was brilliant.
Yesterday we had a quiet day with some shopping (well quite a lot of shopping :P haha)
and we ended the day with watching a real life baseball game :D
It was awesome!
Anaheim Angels stadium is not far from our hotel so we thought we could go see them play.
Plenty of home runs and the crowd was cool too :)
They played San Diego and absolutely crushed them with 9-1.
Today we went on the LA&Hollywood tour which was ok..
I wish we had more time in Hollywood to see more of the Chinese Theatre etc.
Oh well. Next time we come here we will be driving and going everywhere on our own!
We also went to Santa Monica beach which was quite cool :)
Tomorrow it is Six flag/Magic Mountain.. With all the BIG/SCARY rides.
Not sure what to expect, but I think I will be scared! AAaaaah!

We have been here for a few days now and it has been amazing :)
I really love California :D
It is where dreams come true.
Disneyland is spectacular and Univesal studios was amazing too.
Especially for a movie/TV shows freak like me :p
I have been like a kid these last 2 days.
Running around excited to see all the characters and rides.
Americans have a love for wet and fire rides haha :)
It is awesome!!!
I will write more about the parks in a couple of days.
Just wanted to let you know we are having a lot of fun and enjoying every minute here :)
I wish I could stay forever. I can easily see myself living in America.
The people are so friendly it is insane.
The weather has not been on our side. (well not MINE at least haha)
The sun is hiding behind the clouds, but it is still warm. I guess it makes it more tolerable when we
are at the parks.
Plus I got Las Vegas in a couple of days where I will be sunbathing all day long ;)
