Movies

I love movies.
I've seen many in my 27 year old life.
Some amazing ones and some less amazing ones :p
Going to list a few that I want to see as soon as I can.
Milk -
Sean Penn won the best male actor for his role in this movie.
I think that this could be a good movie. Not like the mainstream ones.
I like a movie based on true stories.

Slumdog Millionare -
Well what can I say. 8 Oscars.
It must have something good about it :p
It looks like an interesting movie.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button -
I have seen 30 minutes of this lovely film. And then something went wrong with the copy I got.
But the 30 minutes I did see were great. And I can't wait to see the whole movie :)

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans -
I liked the first 2 movies, so I look forward to watch this one.
I like vampire movies. They are quite interesting :p

Watchmen -
I don't know much about this movie, but I do like movies based upon comic books.
So I think this could be a good one.

Wolverine -
I can't wait to see this!  I loves the X-men movies and Wolverine was one
of my favourite characters. Hugh Jackman is brilliant :)

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen -
I enjoyed the first movie, and I used to be a fan of the cartoon when I was a kid :D

Monster Vs Aliens -
Cartoon!! I love cartoons. Make me happy and always make me laugh.
I'm a kid forever!

Fast and furious 4 -
Oh my GOD!! Vin Diesel is back!!! FINALLY!! woooooo!

Night at Museum 2 -
Hahaha the first movie was hillarious.
And it was also the first movie me and Ads watched together.

Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus -
The last movie Heath Ledger played in.
But because he died before the movie was finished...
There will be 3 other actors who finish it.
One of them is Johnny Depp.

Harry Potter and the halfblood prince -
The 6th movie. How I've waited for this one.
I'm a HUGE fan of Harry Potter.
Both the books and the movies :D

And many many more!
Looks like another year filled of amazing movies :D
Bring it on!

The Oscars 2009

Wow.
I made it. I watched the whole thing :)
Just like I used to back home. It's like a tradition I got.
Ads watched the red carpet part with me, but then he went to bed ha.
I stayed up till the end.
I think it was quite amusing and brilliant this year. Even tho you could see that the
credit crunch had made an impact on the movie industry aswell. It did not look as extravagant as it used to.
Which I think was good in some ways. It felt more initmate and down to earth.
Hugh Jackman was the host and he was pretty funny :) He is no Billy Crystal, but he made a good effort.
The biggest winner was without a doubt Slumdog Millionare. I've not seen the movie yet, but I think it is about time :)
Best picture, best editor, best song etc. Wow. Well done.
And it was nice to see Kate Winslet finally getting an Oscar for her achievements.

And most of all I was happy to see Heath Ledger getting the Best supporting act. He was truly brilliant as the Joker.
Was so moving to see his father and sisters accepting the Oscar on his behalf.

Beautiful Amy Adams

Sarah Jessica Parker ♥ My favourite :) In a lovely Dior dress

Lovely Miley Cyrus.
I love this dress :) I'd take off the belt though.

Oscar winner Kate Winslet

Frieda Pinto in a beautiful dress

Gorgeous as always, Natalie Portman. Love the colour!

RIP Heath Ledger. You were a true star.

 Heath's father and sisters.

Confessions

Wednedays.
I love them.
Middle of the week and all :)
Not long till the weekend.
Plus it's my day off tomorrow.
Something to look forward to.
Tonight I'm going to Nandos ( portugese restaurant which I looove )
and then we are going to the movies. Me , a girl from work and her friends.
We are going to watch Confessions of a shopaholic.
I am usually not into these chick flicks. But sometimes it's just nice to go to the
cinema with some girls and watch these silly movies. :D
Plus I'm looking forward to the popcorn haha.

The Spirit

Went to the movies friday night, we watched The Spirit. A very good movie if you like the unusual movies :p
Which I do! It was filled with good actors like Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johansson. And of course Samuel L Jackson who I love to watch. He can play anyone and make it AWESOME.
"Down these mean streets a man must come. A hero born, murdered, and born again" (The Spirit)

Gabriel Macht played The spirit. Not heard of him before, but he was pretty good. I would have liked to see Clive Owen in this role, but oh well :p

Samuel L Jackson was awesome in his role as "the octopus" hehe.
I recommend this movie if you liked movies like Kill Bill or Sin City. A bit different ;)

Movie time

Few nights ago we watched Defiance, a really good movie with Daniel Craig ♥
Based upon a true story, set in the 2nd world war in Belarussia. It's about 3 brothers that fight against the
nazi's and how they and many more try to survive hiding in the forest. Very sad at times, but it makes you
cherish your life and the small things in life that make you happy. I recommend this film.

Tonight we are going for a nice dinner :D and movies afterwards. Going to watch The Spirit.
I hope it's good, because it's the maker of Sin City and 300! that has made this one. :D

Expectations

Hmm, we went to watch Twilight  on Saturday after I finished work. I have read all the books 1-4 in English and I love every single book. The first and the last are my absolute favourites so far. And I have wanted to watch the movie since it came out in Sweden. BUT it did not come out in England till the 19th of December, when I was in Vegas. So my expectations were huge when I sat there and waited for the movie to start. I KNOW that books are always better than movies.. I did not dislike the movie. But I expected a lot more. Not sure what, but something was missing. The movie was okey, but not brilliant. The actors were good, the movie had it's fun moments :)
 Beautiful

Saturday

Long day today, woke up slightly hungover and walked to work. Winter cold today, love it! Just wish we had snow :/
We went and watched Madagascar 2 today it is hillarious!! One part made me laugh so much I almost cried. I strongly recommend it.

he is the best!!! hahaha. Watch it people!

This is what I was wearing today.

.

The Pink Panther

Last night we watched it. The one that was made in 2006. I love the original movies, so I was not sure if I would like this one. But it was quite funny at times. Made me laugh :D Steve Martin is funny, and Jean Reno was good in his role. Other actors were Beyonce Knowles (yep) Kevin Kline, Emily Mortimer and many more. Oh Jason Statham had a small role in the beginning, but he did not say a word :( Oh well. I recommend this movie.
  Hahaha he is mad.
Oh the sequal to this movie is coming out next year. Looking forward to that.

Spent a  few hours reading my lovely book yesterday. And I did not get to sleep til late because I could not put it down. :p
I've almost finished reading the first book. Can't wait to start on the second one.

Mamma Mia, Books & Painting

Last night I watched Mamma Mia ♥ again, and had some wine. It was as good as the first time I saw it at the cinema.
The music is so beautiful and the actors were amazing. Apart from one thing. Pierce Brosnan's singing hahaha. Bless him for trying at least.

And then I started reading my new book. I got Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. The movie is out at the cinema, but I prefer reading the book before I watch the movie. So much better.

The other day I finished another book. Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, yes I know it's been out forever. I have already read The DaVinci Code and loved it. Plus the movie "Angels& Demons" is coming out next year. Can't wait. I liked the book, was interesting and mysterious. Just what I like!

Today I woke up,had some cappuccino and then I put Mamma Mia on again and started painting the hallway haha. Yes I watched it twice in less than 24 hours. It's one of those movies you can watch over and over again.

We are supposed to be going out tonight, I'm not sure if I'm up for it, but if I do I'll wear one of my new dresses and my new shoes. Still waiting for my loveli camera... So I have not been taking any pictures lately.

Max Payne, the movie

We watched Max Payne last night. I liked it. Was pretty cool, and the effects were awesome at times. If you have played the game you will know a bit more about it. Good movie with lots of action :) and some good actors in it as well. Mark Wahlberg is Max Payne, the new Bond girl has a role in it, Chris O'Donell, Ludacris! (haha) and a few more.
Recommend you to watch it.

Bond, James Bond

Woooo,we are going to watch Quantum of Solace!
I am soooo excited. I love the Bond movies.
And I am a big fan of Daniel Craig ♥
I cant wait to go to the cinema and have sweet popcorn.
Yes sweet as in sugar popcorn. Before I came to England I had not heard of that.
In Sweden we got salty and butter popcorn. But NOT sweet :/
I was not sure if I would like it, but it is quite nice! :D
Oh and i have a craving for candy! Miss Swedish "lordags godis".
Aaaaah I know what else I'm getting next weekend ;)
Just one week til im back in Sweeeden :D ♥

Oh some silly information.
Last year me and some friends went to watch Casino Royale at the cinema and it started at 00.07 haha
I thought it was quite funny :p
But I was pretty tired when I came home :)

The Holiday (2006)

God I love this movie. It came on Sky movies tonight. I was not going to watch it but I could not turn it off.
It is such a " feel good movie". It made me smile, laugh and I even shed a tear.
Cameron Diaz is awesome in it and so is Jude Law.
Oh let's not forget Jack Black (legend) and Kate Winslet.
If you by any chance have not seen this movie, then I strongly recommend it!
   Amanda Woods            Iris Simpkins
Miles                 Graham Simpkins and  Arthur Abbott

Quotes :)

Arthur Abbott :  " I like this Hugo Boss, he cuts a nice suit! "

Iris : I have found almost everything ever written about love to be true. Shakespeare said,
"Journeys end in lovers meeting." What an extraordinary thought.

Graham : " Call me old fashioned but one doesn't have sex with women who are unconscious"

Plenty more that I want to write, but scared I would spoil it for the people who have not seen it! :)

Saw V

I am (well I think I am) one of the biggest fans of Saw.
And I can't wait to go watch the 5th movie!
I know some people did not like the Saw movies (too gruesome?) and thought they
should have stopped them after the 2nd. But I love all the movies! :D
Now I have to find someone who wants to go with me.
Because Ads does not like them. Grrr
I might have to go on my own :o
I usually end up watching scary movies on my own haha.

Sooo excited

♥ Giggles

It might, just might be possible that I'll be going back HOME for my mums 50th birthday! :D
I'm not going to tell her. It is going to be a surprise. Have to talk to my manager first and make
sure I can have 2 days off. Fingers crossed!! Woop!
